1stLt USMC (Ret) Gerald F. Merna, of Potomac Falls, VA submitted the following roster and photo of Parris Island Platoon 47 that started Boot Camp in April 1947. Lt. Merna fought in Korea (52-53) and Vietnam (66-67). Thank you very much for your contributions, both for the web site, and in defending this great country of ours.
